SPN Collaborative Art Workshop With Nasty Studio
A Creative Partnership With Purpose
An exciting new creative collaboration is launching in Chatham.
Nasty Studio workshops begin on 26th February, with Sheppey Pulse Network Charity’s funded session starting on 12th March. We are proud to be working alongside Nasty Gallery / Nasty Studio, highly respected professionals in the arts, to create accessible spaces that support creativity, connection, and wellbeing.
Nasty Studio will run twice monthly, with one workshop funded by Sheppey Pulse Network Charity, helping to widen access to creative opportunities for women. Nasty Gallery is an empowering movement within the arts, using creative expression to turn lived experience into strength, healing, and positive change.
More details coming soon — watch this space.

ROAR is a Kent-based charity supporting individuals who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing significant challenges, including homelessness and complex life transitions. Through practical support, advocacy, and guidance, ROAR helps people regain stability, independence, and confidence as they move forward.
Why Housewarming Starter Packs Matter
Sheppey Pulse Network Charity believes that a safe, supported start is essential when someone is beginning a new chapter. Housewarming Starter Packs provide practical essentials that help turn accommodation into a home, offering dignity, comfort, and reassurance at a crucial time. By working in partnership with ROAR through a referral system, we can ensure this support reaches those who need it most, when it matters most.

💜 About Sheppey Pulse Network
Sheppey Pulse Network (SPN) is a grassroots, volunteer-led organisation on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. Our mission is simple: to uplift and empower our community — especially those facing hardship, isolation, or lack of support.
We organise community events, support local charities, run donation drives, and step in wherever there's a need — from birthday boxes for lonely residents to food support for struggling families.
Although we are not yet a registered charity, we operate within the framework of charity law and are actively awaiting approval from the Charity Commission. Every penny donated goes directly to the community — we are 100% volunteer-run, with no wages, admin fees, or overheads.
Whether you give a little or a lot, you're helping us bridge the gap for those who feel forgotten.
✨ Thank you for helping us celebrate local life and build a stronger, more connected Sheppey & Swale ✨

2026
1st Initiative
Our first donation initiative isn’t heading straight into the community — it’s heading into your drawers! With a fun and sustainable twist, we’re collecting old, unloved bras to be responsibly recycled, raising vital funds to support our ongoing community projects. Instead of letting them gather dust (or poke you in the ribs), donate them to us and help turn yesterday’s lingerie into tomorrow’s community impact. It’s the perfect excuse for a clear-out, a giggle, and doing real good — all at the same time.

COMPLETED SUCCESSFUL INITIATIVES

Sheppey Pulse Network delivers meaningful, grassroots impact by providing essential supplies directly into the community and working in collaboration with trusted local charities to ensure support reaches those who need it most. Through strategic partnerships, the Network has supported residents, local children’s nurseries, hospital services, and community organisations, while also distributing small but vital cash donations to strengthen collective outreach efforts, including support for ROAR. Each initiative reflects a commitment to collaboration, dignity, and practical action—maximising impact through shared purpose and community connection.
2025
Proven impact through powerful partnerships — connecting community, delivering change.

Little Hands, Big Needs September 2025 Donation Drive
Wrap Them in Care, Change a Life
Charity Update: Supporting Our New Parents
We are currently running a Nappies & Wipes Drive to give new parents in our community a helping hand during what can be a challenging time.
If you would like to donate nappies, pull-ups, wipes, or any brand-new, unopened baby essentials, we would be truly grateful. We can also accept opened packs, provided they remain in their original packaging.
Our goal is to support 10–20 families, and thanks to the kindness of our supporters, we are already helping six families. With your generosity, we can reach even more parents who need us right now.
From all of us at Sheppey Pulse Network, thank you for your continued support — our community thrives because of people like YOU.
HOPE
🌟 Hope This Christmas 🌟
This Christmas, we are reminded that hope shines brightest in the darkest of times. In a world that has felt heavy and uncertain, giving becomes more than just a gesture – it becomes an act of transformation. By sharing with thoughtfulness and empathy, we not only meet a need but also inspire change in how we see and support one another.
At Sheppey Pulse Network, we believe that every person deserves to feel valued, cared for, and uplifted – especially those who are struggling. Your kindness helps us turn challenges into moments of hope, and together we can create a ripple of compassion that transforms lives. Sometimes, all it takes is a helping hand to remind someone that they are not alone.
This season, let’s give with open hearts and be the change that makes Christmas truly meaningful. ❤️

We’re thrilled to announce our new project: Bridging the Birthday Gap!

Staff@sheppeypulsenetwork.co.uk
Please note:
- We are currently only accepting applications from residents of Sheppey and Swale.
- Due to high demand we may not be able to assist every application.
- The applications must be made at least 4 months before the cake is needed. Although, on short notice we may be able to help with a shop brought cake.

A special thank you to Campbells Meat for their generous support and contribution to our launch. Your kindness and community spirit helped make the day a true success.
Your scotch pies were a hit amongst all. Thank you.

Tunstall Jubilee Foundation
This amazing foundation generously funded 100 children’s treat bags for our launch on 31st August 2025 — for this, we are eternally grateful. The bags were a huge success with the young ones, and it was all made possible thanks to their £200 grant. 💜
A very special thanks also goes to Sheila Power Patel, who not only supported and assisted us throughout the application process, but has been truly instrumental in so many ways. From providing free donations for our Community Free Donation Stall (with support from the congregation of the Church of Latter-day Saints, who kindly carried out the collection), to gifting two food hampers that were shared on the day, Sheila’s kindness and dedication have left a lasting mark on our hearts.
Sheila, you are a very special lady, and we thank you deeply for everything you have done.
